Charity - Ronald McDonald House Toy Drive 2011 #1 by Rose0fMay Charity - Ronald McDonald House Toy Drive 2011 #1 by Rose0fMay
By popular request, here are some photos from the charity work I wear Supergirl for. I volunteer with the West Coast Initiative, in league with the West Coast Avengers. Here we're at the Ronald McDonald Open House and Toy Drive just before Christmas.

These photos are unshopped and unaltered, and I'm not apologizing for it, so accept my imperfections for what they are and consider what's more important here. 'Sup, reality.

All parents/guardians gave their expressed permission to be photographed for our online galleries.

Dat's me in Supergirl.

BTW, War Machine? Pretty awesome, but for kids? Really? lol
But seriously, were the kids cool with the guy who has guns for eyes? (not literally, of course, but that mini-gun looks where he looks lol)

They LOVE War Machine, it was Bumblebee they tended to give shifty eyes to, at least at this particular event. Maybe because he spoke? Most people don't think a real person is in there. You can't see the Bee in this photo, but that little kid is staring directly at him and WOULD NOT break eye contact for like, 30 min, and all his dad wanted was a picture with Bee. Took a lot of coaxing, but once he got over there, he was in love. Hilarious.

haha, I can see him eye ballin' 'Bee. Too bad these kids didn't grow up on the original 'Bee, he had a voice then! Though he wasn't a Camero either ^_-.
Still can't believe kids love WM. Then again, to them bullets just 'hurt' the bad guy and all. Much more innocent, so good for them! ^_^.

How can I accept your imperfections when there are none!?

Love the light in this one.
